Lin has extensively studied and practiced Tai Chi Quan and Qi Gong for over 30 years. She is from Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China and has learned from many masters in the past, including Masters Lin Zheng-Kun and Wang Hui-Yun. Because of her education and background as a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, she has gained much experience and insight to the close relationship between Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and Chinese Medicine, especially the way in which they relate to the Meridians in the body.
The popularity of Lin's Yang style Tai Chi classes comes as no surprise. Her knowledge and ability is transferred to her students, thus many choose to follow and take her class several times. She teaches a Yang Style Longevity Form for beginners (15 movements) and for more advanced students the Yang style Competition Form (40 movements) and the Yang Traditional Long Form (108 movements).
She also teaches Guo Lin Walking Qi Gong for Cancer and Chronic Diseases. She has trained with DaYuan Yu, teacher and chief of the ACA (Anti-Cancer Assoc.) in Beijing. By practicing this simple method of walking, moving and breathing his students lives are being enhanced and many experience recovery from their illness and pain free years added to their lives. Lin has the same hopes and expectations for her students here in the U.S.
